Many people who really enjoy wine also collect wine glasses. While you can get wine glasses at any discount shop, building a collection of unique wine glasses can enhance your enjoyment of your wine collection. Of course, there are unique shapes of wine glasses that work best for different varietals of wine. Sparkling wines, for example, do best in narrow flutes, while a rich red wine is best in a glass with a large bowl that allows the air to mix well with the wine.

Many wine glass designs are enhanced by the artistry that goes into them. You can also get sets made from recycled glass, double walled glass sets (the double wall helps prevent the wine from warming up due to your touch), mini sets, giant sets, and themed sets. You can even get unbreakable wine glass sets if you find yourself in a situation where glasses could get damaged.
